Image Quality and Resolution
We Have great pride in the materials, Inks, and processes used to create your fine art purchase. The images presented to you in the Gallery are shown at low resolution levels due to constraints imposed by the image handling on the internet and the desire to maintain the spirit of copyright protection.
Material quality is insured by using Epson Premium and Ultra premium Matte papers and genuine Epson Ultra Chrome High Gloss inks. Wilhelm Research Labs have tested these combinations and have shown that the expected life of the print before noticeable fading occurs is over 150 years when protected under glass and kept from direct high levels of moisture and sun illumination. All of our framed art pieces are under glass.
Image quality is also resolution related. The initial resolution of the example shown below was 200 bpi, a resolution one third less than the 300bpi file used to print your image. You can inspect precision at this level by right clicking on the image and checking text and image detail.
